Featured Speakers

Desiree’ and Sara Sterling

Foster parents for five years and adoptive parents of two children, the Sterling’s foster care journey started before the LGBTQ community could legally adopt in Virginia. The pair entered foster parenting classes as registered roommates and graduated with separate foster parent licenses. Though the road to parenthood was tough, they believed their calling was to help God’s children. Being foster and adoptive parents has been the most rewarding experience of their lives. The Sterling’s will be sharing the story of their journey and answering questions.
