Community Support Services

Our Community Engagement and Community Coaching programs offer opportunities for adult individuals with developmental disabilities to truly connect to and engage with their communities.

These exciting services treat the community itself as a learning environment and build supports that lead to relationships with people who live in individuals’ towns and neighborhoods.

Choice and Variety

Individuals choose and engage in activities such as:

  • Volunteering
  • Educational activities and events
  • Health and wellness activities
  • Cultural or spiritual activities
  • Exercising civil rights
  • Activities that develop self-advocacy and communication skills
  • Activities that develop or strengthen relationships with family, friends and neighbors.

Community Engagement

This community-based service is provided with a 1:3 staff-to-individual ratio.

Community Coaching

We offer Community Coaching with a 1:1 staff-to-individual ratio. This service is ideal for individuals who face barriers that make it in Community Engagement,
