Volunteers are priceless. To celebrate National Volunteer Week, which starts April 10, we want to thank our volunteers for the smiles that they put on the faces of students, individuals, and families who face challenges every day. Thank you for sharing your time and talents!
Volunteers, along with community and church partnerships, open a new realm of possibilities for the people we serve! LFSVA values volunteers and the special talents, skills, and energy they share with us.
- Volunteers are reading volunteers, they are art teachers, and they fill backpacks with food for our students to have nourishment on weekends.
- Volunteers play BINGO with the individuals with disabilities, they play music and do arts and crafts. We have groups visit our day support centers and have ice cream sundae parties!
- Volunteers help with appreciation events for our foster and adoptive parents.
- Volunteers are special by collecting things like school supplies for students and Christmas presents for our children in foster care.
We are always looking for volunteers who share our vision of believing all should live abundant lives. If you’re interested, please fill out our volunteer form.
