The Heart Gallery is a traveling photographic exhibit created to find forever families for children in foster care. It’s a collaborative project across the United States to increase the number of adoptive families for children needing homes in your community. It gives a voice to hundreds of waiting children across Virginia.
Quians enjoys the outdoors, riding her bicycle, playing on the playground with friends, spending time with horses and getting in the pool. During her free time, Quians likes playing games with friends, coloring, singing, and dancing. She also has an interest in learning how to play the drums. Quians is very fashionable and says, “I really love to wear pretty and colorful clothes with matching shoes, and hair accessories.”
Quians says she would like to live with a family with a mom and dad and she would love to have her own bedroom with a canopy bed.
Ethan is searching for a forever family. He is very creative and imaginative. He really enjoys watching cartoons, playing with Legos, and solving puzzles. Ethan is affectionate, very talkative, and he loves to meet new people. He is incredibly intelligent and enjoys reading. Ethan says that his favorite things are listening to music, superheroes, and laughing. Ethan likes going to church, singing along with the choir, and being outdoors. Meet Merrick! Merrick is very active and has great expressive communication skills; he truly enjoys talking about battleships, electronics, and trains. He also loves to read and write and has no issues completing school assignments at home and in the classroom setting. Merrick is a very loving child who wears his emotions on his sleeve, and loves hugs. Anthony is a smart, athletic, empathetic, honest, creative, and helpful young man. He likes the outdoors, is very active, and enjoys playing basketball and football, canoeing, and swimming. He also enjoys listening to rap and hip-hop music. Anthony’s favorite colors are black and red. He is very socially aware and excels academically. He can be very friendly, especially once he builds trust. Anthony needs a stable family who will provide the support, structure, and unconditional love that he needs in order to be a successful young man.
